The Showmen’s Mental Health Awareness Charity has close links with The Showmen’s Guild of Great Britain, who have appointed a Mental Health Liaison Officer (MHLO) to each Section (region).
The MHLOs have been trained by the charity and EPIC Assist Charity Scotland who designed and co-delivered the training for signposting Showmen to relevant information and support around wellbeing and mental health. Workshops were put together by a team of experts, led by Mental Health Co-ordinator Grant, who provides clinical supervision and support to EPIC’s team of Mental Health Consultants in Australia.
